OUR CENTER
The Adult Day Center (ADC) offers two programs of care and support for seniors with Alzheimer’s or dementia. There is great support for clients in need of social engagement in a setting that provides individualized care. In addition, we provide meals, activities, transportation, medical support, and assistance with personal hygiene.
The central focus of our clients at the ADC is social interaction. Our ADC Director and Recreational Therapist create a varied schedule of activities including exercise, Tai Chi, arts and crafts, discussion groups, intergenerational programming, musical entertainment, field trips, games, puzzles, bingo, and religious services.
ALZHEIMER’S & DEMENTIA CARE SUPPORT
The Garden Room at the Adult Day Center provides members living with advanced cognitive impairment, due to Alzheimer’s or dementia, a safe and secure environment. This specialized program is designed to provide cognitive stimulation and therapeutic recreation to individuals with limited abilities. This program accommodates no more than ten members per day and allows those in need to receive an enhanced level of supervision and assistance with activities of daily living.
